KOPANAS 1139 days agoA study examining 720 software projects to determine the drivers of project failure was conducted and it was found that all project failures can be linked to one cause: the delivered solution does not fit the problem.
The six main software project risks, in order of importance are: use of an inapproriate methodology, lack of customer involvement, lack of formal project management, dissimilarity to previous projects, project complexity and requirements volatility.
